When circumstances are not ideal, this can negatively impact how we see ourselves and others. In order to cope, we may develop maladaptive coping strategies that ultimately lead to further distress.

Individual therapy (sometimes called psychotherapy or counseling) is a process where a client works one-on-one with a trained therapist. Research suggests that weekly sessions initially help to gain momentum and create emotional safety. Together we will decide on the best frequency to meet your individual needs. In-person sessions will be conducted in my Tucson office.

I offer virtual therapy (also known as tele-health) in Arizona and Georgia. I utilize the #1 HIPAA-compliant platform SimplePractice that can be easily accessed on your computer, smartphone, or tablet. EMDR sessions are also available virtually utilizing remotEMDR.
My belief is we are all doing the very best we can at any given time. With the right support you can heal the past and fully embrace the beauty of the present.
